While there is so much to celebrate about being a girl, and so many more opportunities for girls today it’s also a pretty challenging and contradictory time to be one. Something has changed in our tween and teen girls’ world and they are struggling with challenges that many of their caregivers did not when we were their age.

We’re seeing more anxiety, academic pressure, self-harm, depression and tragically suicide. The online world adds a complexity to raising our tween and teen daughters – online bullying, sexualisation, the obsession with image. Many girls are drowning in disillusionment and insecurity and there is a level of pressure that simply didn’t exist before.

In this very special masterclass, Maggie Dent is joined by tween/teen specialist and bestselling author Michelle Mitchell to help parents and people who work with adolescents better understand, support and empower their tween and teen girls.
